Tristan Rogers first captured the public eye in the mid-1990s with the launch of a highly successful web design company that soon counted both The Royal Mail and drinks giant Diageo amongst its big-name clients. Following a number of high-profile achievements in this sector (and having successfully survived the dotcom crash), Tristan was approached in 2000 to set up a UK office for France's then-largest independent web agency.
Tristan went on to start Concrete in 2004, to explore web based application development and Software as a Service, then a brand new commercial model for software sales. In 2005 he decided to invest additional funds in the company in order to transform Concrete into the world's first enterprise collaboration platform for the retail sector. Customers onboard included M&S, Debenhams and Clarks.
Today, the company continues to excel by sharing its expertise in enterprise collaboration and business re-engineering with retail clients that are looking to reduce the time and cost-to-market of merchandise and marketing collateral.
When he's not busy managing Concrete's unstoppable growth, Tristan's other interests include sartoria, motor racing, car design, food and drink, and laughing.
Andrzej has earned a strong reputation for his extensive work with cloud-based IT solutions that are both robust yet flexible. Before joining Tristan to build Concrete back in 2004, Andrzej spent five years as the Head of IT for Guinness World Records, the company behind the best-selling books, television programmes, and live events that have sustained a global audience of loyal customers for nearly 60 years. Before that he worked as a lead on special interactive publication projects with The Economist and Oxford University Press.
At Concrete, Andrzej is responsible for the strategic development of ConcretePlatform, the world's first Enterprise Collaboration Platform for the retail market. Andrzej is also responsible for shaping the future generations of the platform, taking advantage of new technologies to bring and test concepts through the prototyping stage, ready for production.
He is a firm advocate of 'form follows function' which extends well beyond software and into print, typography and industrial design. Such passions do have their drawbacks: it took six weeks to track down the perfect coffee cup for the office...
Robin is passionate about helping Brands utilise the web to trade more effectively. Having spent twenty years assisting organisations realise the benefits of Technology, Robin was attracted to ConcretePlatform by the ease with which it solves B2B trading challenges in the cloud via a consumer-grade interface.
After an early career with Xerox, Robin helped Bristol-based smartFOCUS double in size and then led Aprimo Inc's UK operation through 5 successful years of growth. Robin is responsible for revenue generation at Concrete.
Married, with three teenage children, Robin splits his time between home in rural Wiltshire and Concrete's Clerkenwell base. A dedicated cyclist in the lanes around Chippenham, Robin was an early Boris bike adopter and is gradually converting the Concrete team to the only way to travel in London.
Chris leads our Client Services capabilities, and is passionate about making the client experience central to everything we do.
Chris has a 23 year track record of working for global technology industry leaders, specialising in Analytics, Business Intelligence, Customer Relationship Management and Marketing.
Prior to Concrete, Chris was Vice President of Professional Services Europe, for Aprimo Inc. Chris joined Aprimo in 2007 and transformed their European Professional Services business unit, growing revenue significantly, and doubling margin performance. Prior to that, Chris spent 6 ½ years as Regional Director at E.piphany where he helped the company turn into a worldwide market leader for CRM solutions.
When he is not looking for ways to delight our clients, Chris has rings run around him by his two young children, his wife and his cat (in that order), and spending inappropriate amounts of money on his home cinema. Chris is also a fan of old Mercedes cars, and is currently searching for a good A124 cabriolet to sustain his mid life crisis.
